1. Book your Senior Photoshoot

Once we have a date picked out, I’ll email you a short form where you can select your photoshoot collection and any optional add-ons, like a mini family photoshoot or professional hair and makeup services. At this point, you will also review and sign your photoshoot contract, plus pay the $200 photoshoot deposit (this is non-refundable and goes toward the total cost of your photoshoot).

Once you sign the contract and submit your deposit, your photoshoot is officially booked!

Your photoshoot experience begins with a consultation with one of our talented stylists. During our initial consultation, we’ll discuss your preferences and what kind of photos you’re looking for. You may be interested in having your makeup done for your photoshoot, and you’re welcome to bring in any beauty products that you would like to use for your shoot. At the end of the consultation, we’ll decide on a style and provide an estimate for the cost of the session.

Take a look at the collections I offer and decide which one is the best for you. I offer three different collections for seniors that vary in length, number of edited images, locations, and outfits. Your edited digital images are delivered via an online gallery where you can download them to your computer, phone, or device. From your online gallery, you can order high-quality prints and photo products. Click here to view my senior collection. No worries if you don’t know which collection you want. We can chat over email to decide which collection is right for you, just fill out the booking form. The booking form has to be submitted on my website. When you would like your photoshoot to take place and what kind of photos you are looking for are some of the details you will give in this form. Don’t fret if you don’t have a vision for your photo shoot. We will figure it all out. You’ll get an email confirmation after you complete the form. Within 24 hours, I’ll email you my available dates and the next steps to make your booking official! Once we have a date, I will email you a short form where you can select your photoshoot collection and any optional add-ons, like a mini family photoshoot or professional hair and makeup services. The $200 photoshoot deposit is non-refundable and goes toward the total cost of your photoshoot. Your photoshoot is booked when you sign the contract and submit the deposit.

2. Plan with me on Zoom

After your photoshoot is booked, I will reach out over email to confirm the details and send you a link to choose a time for the planning session. For seniors, I encourage them to join the session. If you’re booking a senior photoshoot, I’ll send you a short questionnaire to fill out before we meet. This should only take a few minutes to complete, and your responses will help me get to know you better and learn about what you have in mind for your photos. I can prepare some great options for you if I ask you what you prefer, like fields, cities, or forests. It’s an opportunity for us to get to know each other a little more before your shoot, and second, it gives us time to decide all of the fun details! We will talk about your location, timing, outfits, hair/ makeup looks, and everything else you need to know. You can reach out to me at any time and I will make sure all of your questions are answered when we meet on Zoom. After our planning session, I will send you an email with all of the information.

What are the best ways to keep in touch with you? I use my private Facebook page, and you can contact me there. I love to hear from my clients, so if you have any questions, please reach out to me at: info@elizabradfordphotography.com. Are you available for sessions on weekends? Yes! I’m available for weekend sessions. I do have a few restrictions for this, such as availability, locations, and the time of day. We will be looking forward to the day of your shoot!

3. Meet me on location

When you meet me at the photo shoot, I will send you a few reminders about the location and start time. We’ll meet at the first location on the day of your shoot. Before we meet, I will schedule you for professional hair and makeup. At each location, I like to try out a variety of props. My goal is to find the best lighting so that you have lots of options in your final gallery. If you don’t know how to pose, I’ll show you poses for you to try. When you receive your edited photos, I like to combine posed and candid shots so you have a lot of different looks in your gallery. For seniors, I make sure to take several classic headshots so they have many options for their photo. Should it rain? Don’t worry if the weather forecast calls for rain on your photoshoot day. I will keep an eye on the weather and let you know if I have any issues. We will make a decision on rescheduling. I try to ensure my calendar has room for rescheduling in the cold months.

4. I’ll Edit your Photos

Once I get home from our photoshoot I’ll load all of the photos we took together into my computer and backup them in two additional storage locations.

This allows me to make sure your images are safe. I’ll start by taking as many as 2,000+ photos, and then narrow it down to the best photos.  Finally, I’ll use my PhotoShop skill to edit and retouch your final photos.  My editing style is vibrant and warm with a natural, un-retouched feel.

5. Download, Print, and Share your Photos

Within 2 weeks after your photoshoot, I will send you an email with a link to your personalized online gallery and print store where you can download, share and print your photos.  You will be able to download web-sized or high-resolution copies of your images directly to your device, Google Drive, and/or Dropbox from your online gallery.

You can also share the link to your gallery with family and friends, too, so that they can also download and print their favorite photos.

Your online gallery also includes your very own professional print and product store! This is where you can purchase your photos as high-quality, long-lasting, true-to-color print products.

Right from your online gallery, you’ll have access to a wide variety of top-of-the-line print products: loose prints, frames, canvases, acrylic and metal wall art, cards, and more! The products you order will ship directly to your door.

There are two ways you can order:

Meet with me on Zoom so we can walk through the product options and differences, customize your prints and products, and place your order together.
Place an order yourself. The online store is fairly intuitive and includes some helpful how-to videos, but I’m always an email away if you need any help.

Outside of your gallery store, I also offer custom design photo albums! These can be ordered directly through me, and they’re perfect for displaying all of your favorite photos in one place. Albums come in a variety of shapes and sizes and can be totally customized inside and out.
